Martin County isn't doing enough to support and defend commissioners linked to the Lake Point lawsuit.
So said County Commissioner Sarah Heard recently.
"I don't think the county has done anything to correct allegations that were made as a result of the proposed settlement of the lawsuit," Heard told her commission colleagues. "No commissioners were named in the lawsuit. The county needs to do a far better job of public relations, of press releases. This was mishandled on the county's part."…
